The most likely proposal, or one that's gotten the furthest so far, are expansions of the Pennsylvanian train service that goes from NYC to Pittsburg train via Philadelphia and Harrisburg. There's been a decent push to increase the frequency of service of that line as well as exploring extensions of it to Cleveland or potentially Chicago (via Cleveland).[/quote]
I know what you're referring to, it's the Hyperloop, where you can get from one location to another in just about 30 minutes. It's a pretty cool concept.
I've never been to either City, so I can't speak definitively, but people in Cleveland seem to be friendlier and more 'salt of the Earth.'
Fair enough. I've heard people call Pittsburgh a friendly city, but I've always interpreted that as "friendly by East Coast standards," honestly. In other words, Pittsburgh is much friendlier than the wretched hive on I-95, but still less friendly than most of the South and Midwest. It's never struck me as an especially friendly city.
As for Cleveland, from my direct and indirect experience, they're not friendly to Pittsburghers, and they don't seem very friendly to Cincinnatians either, but they are relatively friendly to the rest of the U.S.

What was your experiences with Clevelanders for you to say that they're unfriendly? Because most Clevelanders I know are friendly to folks from Pittsburgh (unless it's a Browns-Steelers game lol). But, some folks in Pittsburgh have dogged Cleveland relentlessly; mainly because of the Browns and rightfully so. Folks feel that the team's success or failures are direct reflections of the city. I agree that people call Pittsburgh the friendlier city due to East Coast standards. Now, I don't know East Coast friendliness standards are so enlighten me. Clevelanders aren't friendly to folks from Cincinnati because they always put down Cleveland every chance they get but Cleveland ever hardly talks bad about Cincy in fact we praise it.

?? No, its an existing Amtrak route from NYC to Pittsburgh. It was mentioned that there's a a chance it could someday be expanded to go to Cleveland or Chicago.
