NY is has the only official Omega boutique in the U.S.
There are quite a few official dealers in the country though.

Its funny on the NorthPark site how it mentions Omega being the official time keeper of the Olympics and the store will open in 2013 when the 2020 games host city is to be announced. hmm =)

Thank nothing, I don't have to do any research, I remember Omega in BH the last time I was there.

I'm sure it was just an official dealer.

Those boutiques would be considered 'departments' since they are inside the department store (and shouldn't be listed in the mall directory).

It was very strange, its like listing Tommy Hilfiger because Macys has an in-store shop.

I believe Chanel has a boutique in Galleria I and a 'department' in Neiman-Marcus only hectometers from each other.

exactly that's why when people say "Armani closed in Dallas because it was near Neimans" I'm like yeah whatever .. Chanel has a huge boutique in Houston and is literally right next to Neimans which also has Chanel boutiques in the 1st and 2nd level.

I think I know what an official dealer looks like and trust me, official dealers don't have an entire entrance devoted to a specific brand.
Maybe it recently closed I don't know I'm not in L.A at the moment.

Well there is some truth to this. Yes you can buy the full Armani line at Neimans in Houston and the Boutique there. In Dallas the Armani line is available at more than one department store. I believe in NorthPark Barneys and Neimans both carried the line. There was no need for a boutique in that mall. Its sad that Dallas lost a few cool points when the boutique left because we don't show up on the Armani site as listed cities but the line is still readily available to the public here. Also from what I've been told the leasing dept at NorthPark aren't the easiest to work with. I would say this has a lot to do with turnover of stores there. Max Mara and Custo with locations right next to each other and closing at the exact same time and a Gucci replacing them is pretty fishy.
