I know that you like freezing temperatures In my opinion Seattle is more beautiful and has better weather
Stockholm is not that cold as you might think.

I don't say it is so cold, but it is colder than Seattle
Average annual high: Seattle 62F (17C); Stockholm 51F (11C)
Average annual low: Seattle 45F (7C); Stockholm 41F (5C)
less rain because when it rains in Seattle in the winter it snows in Stockholm and this precipitation doesn't count as rain. Stockholm gets 1,981 hours of sunshine annually. Seattle gets 2071 hours of sunshine. All of statistics for Seattle is for Sea-Tac airport which is cloudier and windier. Downtown Seattle has more sunshine, less rain and warmer temperatures. Yesterday was blue sky and 70F in Seattle, but the day was recorded as sunny and 63F because that was the condition in Sea-Tac. Downtown Seattle has 71 sunny days and 201 cloudy. The airport has 58 sunny and 226 cloudy. Big difference! I remember so many sunny days in Seattle (have pictures and there is nothing in the sky) which were recorded as mostly cloudy or partly cloudy because the station is in Sea-Tac
