I was just saying, But yeah this has turned into Buckhead vs. Palm Beach and no third party look at the poll.
Yep, Buckhead and Palm Beach are dominating. Which we should both be proud of. What I was saying before though is, all this is doing is making it seem like every place needs to be like somewhere in LA. Buckhead and Palm Beach stand on their own 2 feet, they're unique places that don't need to be like anywhere else.
Actually, Beverly Hills does have many young professionals, regardless of average home sales price. Manhattan's average apartment sales price is $1.5 million, but its still a mecca for young professionals.
Its called rent. Many apartments you can find in BH for below $1700.
And no, there is nothing in Buckhead that can match the best of Palm Beach.

I lived in buckhead at 1point I found a place that was. 850 for 1bedroom..

Clearly you have not had much experience with Buckhead. The best of residential Buckhead can easily stand toe to toe with the best of residential Palm Beach.

Hallelujah Yankee Doodle! I've been reading these post back and forth and I'm glad we've finally come to an agreement on this. I was pretty tempted to start another argument with yet another person that has no clue what they're talking about but it's not worth it. Both Palm Beach and Buckhead are elite enclaves for the very wealthy and fashionable. When you stop to actually think about it... how many neighborhoods or small cities can boast of having ridiculous wealth and mega estates, along with the shopping, dining, and hotels to match? Exclusive well rounded places like that are few and far between. Neither needs justification from any magazine or website to be taken seriously. I actually don't appreciate the moniker "Beverly Hills of the South." Even though Atlanta does suffer from serious identity issues and Miami is about as Southern as Southern California to try to down play Buckhead or Palm Beach with that phrase is an insult to be quite honest. Especially when you consider the fact that both exceed the place they been compared to in terms of concentrated affluence....
SN: Now if we could just convince the US Census Bureau that Texas, Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, West Virgina and Delaware are not apart of the "South." We'll be bound to cease nearly all of our regional arguments on this website.
Lol yeah your right, I know from personal experience that being in Palm Beach doesn't feel anything like being in your typical southern neighborhood. South Florida might be located in the south but your right, it's pretty much as southern as Southern California lol. I doubt you'll ever convince anyone that Kentucky, Arkansas, or West Virginia aren't in the south, they scream southern culture. Lol.
I dont think any city in the South Wants to be Fake a** Beverly Hills.
