Surrrre three buildings make a great skyline....Look at those buildings - they are not inviting to anyone in a city - they don't make statements they are just there. Needs more height and density too - You could insert that whole "Skyline" into Buffalo's and barely notice a sizable change.
Now we're talkin; multiple buildings add much density and there is height here as well in Buffalo. Rochester doesn't even have ONE skyscraper - therefore isn't truly a "skyline" - sure Buffalo's skyline isn't perfect, but man is it gorgeous at night and day:
BUFFALO
BTW - I hope you were being sarcastic in saying that Rochester's skyline should even be considered a skyline - But, then again, everyone has an opinion and preference.
Buff4life, thats not Rocheter's whole skyline. You really need to settle down when somebody doesn't think Buffalo isn't the end all of everything. Its getting tiresome.
Hey Buff, if you're so confident, start a poll on who's is better. I won't because I know the answer. I think you would be disappointed by the result.
I started a poll yesterday - so far no replies. We'll see. And, if Buffalo looses, it's not a big deal because these are just opinions. If we were to look at height and density, that's a different story with the incredible amount of buildings that Buffalo has.
Anyways, I voted Rochester because of its stellar location, wonderful universities and community, and the fact that is highly underrated due to its climate, atmosphere, and cost of living. I love Buffalo, too, but Rochester's got it beat in many ways.
The city also reminds me a lot of my hometown (Dayton, Ohio), which for me is a plus.
Some of Rochester's suburbs are the whitest Wonder-breadiest bastions of whiteness I have ever seen.
