I saw the thread for "Which city has the greatest influence on Latin-American culture" and thought it was interesting and unique so I decided to make this one. Well... Which U.S. city has the greatest infuence on Asian-American culture?

I definitely think it is San Francisco. Honolulu has a lot of asians, but little influence on Asian-American culture.

San Francisco(and surrounding area) ...

Nothing compares

in places like new york its just chinese mainly

sf bay area has chinese,filipino,vietnamese,japanese,indians, etc in large quantities

I think LA wins by a landslide (assuming you're talking metro area, not just the city proper). Other cities also have large and diverse Asian populations, but you're asking for influence, not just population numbers.

I would also say Los Angeles. That city influences every type of culture in the U.S. including Asian-Americans.
