Are you trying to decide which area to move to or something? Because this is a strange comparison--both don't have much in common at all.

Well, Syracuse gets a lot of snow, Huntsville doesn't...It's also a completely different culture. I would fit in a lot more in Syracuse.

Default Huntsville

As someone who currently lives in Huntsville and has never been to Syracuse, it would be unfair for me to say either is better. But Huntsville does have a very healthy economy (recently rated #1 by forbes), a nice climate, etc. As for someone who said they wouldn't fit in in Huntsville, I bet you would. Its like the rest of America. You have a mix of everyone. Politics are more or less even (a little conservative lean), you have all ethnic groups, urban areas, suburban areas, rural areas, plenty of good restaurants and shoping. So I'm sure Syracuse is nice, but from personal experience I know Huntsville is.
