I guess I meant that Texas as a whole has diverse cultures meaning diverse food. In east Texas you'll find alot of catfish and fried okra, whereas in south and west Texas, cuisine typically consist of enchiladas, and tacos, and chile and pretty much Tex-Mex food. And I guess I meant Texas culture gets more "western" as you go west and south, and "southern" as you go east. But all in all it's a southern state, and most people who fought in the alamo were southerners. And Dallas is a southern city. But Texas still has a diverse range of culture which is uniqe, that other southern states dont have. The only southern state that has a variety of culture like Texas is Florida, The further south you go the more caribbean and tropical and "northern" it gets.

Tom and Jerry? lol. That's the stereotypical view MOST people have of Texas. That's more west Texas.

Seriously, Dallas is winning this poll?
Look, I know you're all tired of having it hammered home again and again and again and again, but to me Richmond is one of the most southern cities that there is.

And evidently, many people feel Dallas is even more so.

That's pretty much it. Richmond is very Southern and has preserved a lot of its historical buildings and monuments dedicated to the Confederacy (Monument Blvd).

Dallas is Southern and some of the neighborhoods in the city feel very Southern, but overall it's very New South.

Alot of the people voting for Dallas arent even from Texas. It's mostly people trying to get on Richmonders nerves, like somone stated earlier.
