I'm getting a little bit of spring fever, so I decided we need to discuss baseball. Out of the 2 oldest MLB stadiums still in use, which one is your favorite?

I have been to both and personally think both are amazing. Wrigley only gets my vote because I'm from Chicago and I like Wrigleyville a little bit better than the area around Fenway. However, I could see both sides...probably going to come down to where you're from.

Wrigley...

... 304 feet in left field for Fenway... come on... my h.s. field was longer than that @ 320... it changes the game too much and rewards the WRONG thing which is lazy pop ups that go out in left, where as a superior line drive that might go 400 is a double or single. For those that don't know much about baseball, let me put this in perspective, an average 15 year old h.s. player is going to be hitting pop ups out of left field...

Sorry, it isn't nostalgic or quirky, its stupid.

Fenway is a glorified sandlot. They jammed a field into an insufficient footprint and surrounded it with cold, industrial seating.

I used to work in Fenway as a vendor when I was younger, so it will always be Fenway for me.

From Boston, love Fenway but count me among those who feel that it desperately needs to be replaced.
I also believe Wrigley is better. The only exception is the area under the stands is too claustrophic. One narrow concourse gets jammed up too easily.

Default I live in Cambridge, MA..

...but I'm going with Wrigley, by a large margin.

The neighborhood around Wrigley is much more interesting than Fenway, and the fans are more pleasant.

I like Fenway, but I love how Wrigley is just plopped down in the middle of a residential neighborhood. No parking lots, no industry, no expressways, no 4 lane roads. It's just stuffed away there surrounded by 3-flats and businesses.

It's a huge streetparty every other day in the summer when they pretty much just "close" the neighborhood off and let people run wild. Then there's the 50 bars within 2 blocks.....

These pics are AWESOME! I live down the street around Clark and Belmont and I have never found great pics to describe what you are talking about. There is no place like Wrigleyville in the spring and summer.
