Default accent

Alabama and Mississippi have the best accents.

Even though it's the least southern sounding of the accents in the south, I picked New Orleans..Cuz' it's so unique for the region and I just like the way it sounds like a mix of Brooklyn and Louisiana. Next to that, I'd say Mississippi is my favorite southern region for accents, especially the way the women speak..

I like 'em all, but I have to go with Tidewater.

New Orleans aka Nawlins. I think the Coastal South accent option is nice with Cajun third.

There is already an active thread about Southern Accents going on here: https://www.city-data.com/forum/city-...rn-accent.html , and while it's slightly different, this type of discussion could be added to that thread, so we don't need two on the same/similar topic.

Thanks
