^^Well Then I Guess a lot of people like Boring Weather than 4 season,But 4 seasons Are Beautiful,But I Just can't stand it,I Can never adjust to it.Plus I'm a fairly Active person,So I prefer 70's Year Round instead of Brr Cold 20 and 30's.To be Honest I Dye!! When it's 50-60 People in Ca Think it's super Cold when NY it's much colder. Our weather is good for BBQ all year round, and we don't ever(but Sometimes) have to cancel Outdoor Activities do to Weather.

^^^^ you make it sound like LA has the best weather in america or something. now, im sure way more people like tropical weather (think miami, hawaii) than they do dry, hot, desert weather (think sonoran desert, new mexico). in fact you should make a poll asking "which has better weather: miami or LA". i wonder who would win? now, i understand this is about nyc and LA, but comparing LA weather with NY weather is hard to do.

yea your right. i guess thats why the sahara is a big tourist destination right now. forget about southern mexico (cancun, acapulco), central and south america, guam, hawaii, miami, jamaica, the bahamas, puerto rico and all those other places! THEY SUCK! lets all go to the Gobi desert or egypt so we can experience some of that nice weather.

let me just leave it at this; do you honestly believe people would pick places like the middle east, northern africa and the SW u.s over places like guam, hawaii and jamaica as tourist destinations?

The mediterranean climate of LA and SD can hardly be compared to the middle east first of all and 2nd of all aren't you talking about living wise and not visiting? Majority of people don't like the humid, sticky weather of Miami and the Hurricanes it's weather system produces/allows (at least to the extent of wanting to spend more than a week or so there).
The Mediterranean climate of LA and SoCal is not as dramatic as you are making it out to be.

i'm talking about visiting. and couldn't you tell the sarcasm in my post when i compared socal to the gobi desert? but the sonoran desert does take up alot of land in socal. you bring up hurricanes like earthquakes are somehow better. and since you think people would somehow favor socals/northern mexico's weather over the likes of the caribbean, then why don't you make a thread asking which one has the best weather (for vacating)???? i'd love to see which one people would choose.

no, better yet how about "SW USA vs. The Caribbean. which has better weather for vacations". we'll use the whole SW so its about an equal amout of land area as the caribbean.

Seeing how Earthquakes hardly do damage and Hurricanes always do,yeah I would say there "better". And who said I think they would favor it? You are grabbing at straws..even I would rather vacation in the Caribbean or Bahamas than SoCal or Mexico,I'm half Jamaican! But do I want to live where the clothes stick to me during the summer months? No sir.
