Museum Tower in Dallas has broken ground. Construction on the sleek modernist residential 42 story skyscraper tower is now underway. The tower will instantly become a signature building on the sleek Dallas skyline:

Museum Tower | Dallas Art District Condos | Downtown Dallas Arts District Highrises

The new urban park deck being constructed over Woodall Rogers Freeway immediately to the North of the Tower will create an exciting New York Central Park feel for the City and residents of Museum Tower. Museum Tower will also take its place as a crown jewel in the Dallas Arts District, the largest urban arts district in the nation with world class performance halls, theaters, and museums all centrally located.

Now the next major skyscraper announcement should be for AT&T's global headquarters tower to be built in Dallas - a gleaming 100 story to house the relocation of AT&T's corporate offices to Downtown Dallas.

Museum Tower actually hasn't started construction yet. That was only a ceremonial groundbreaking, not to mention there isn't a market for it, but that's a different subject. Oh, and At&T won't be building a new tower in DT Dallas. They just moved into their existing tower Downtown.

This will not happen. AT&T has four buildings that make up its headquarters.
For the last time, Museum Tower is under construction.

It's not under construction. It was just a ceremonial groundbreaking. The article even said construction wasn't suppose to start until the end of the month (and this was in June).

I am tried of arguing with you, this is so pointless.

Well he's telling the truth. Just because it broke ground does not mean it's under construction.

Thank you, Spade. I don't see what's so hard about it.

I guess Dallasites see Houstonians as raining on their parade. Even if the parade hasn't started yet.

Many Houstonians just hate on Dallas...When Mainplace was built nobody complained but let Dallas put up one damn tower and everybody has a negative opinion. Can the city of Dallas please enjoy there Luxury Condo's in peace. The building will make a wonderful addition to downtown Dallas.

Yeah, when we try to put up a tower all hell breaks loose.
