How? Dallas can't even fill up the luxury condos it has now, yet wants to build a new one?! At even higher price points and with smaller unites?! Okay...

2) Census Bureau: Dallas Posts Biggest Population Gain:

Dallas-Fort Worth gained the most new residents of any city -- netting more than 140,000 -- according to the Census Bureau's annual metropolitan area population estimates released on Tuesday (March 23, 2010).

In the past decade the Dallas area has added almost 1.3 million people -- more than any other city. As a result, it stands to receive quite a bit more than the $4 billion in federal funds it earned in 2008.

You know, Houston also grew by over 140K in the past year. Just 6K less than DFW (who was only ahead due to natural increase...Houston gained more new residents if you combine the international + domestic numbers).

4) Area of city, land:

Dallas: 342.5 square miles
Houston: 579.4 square miles

Yet, the City of Houston and it's urban area are still denser than Dallas'.

For the crack heads down in Houston, you'll probably need to put the crack pipe down for a few days before you'll be able to read and actually synthesize the data in the above reputable links.

And don't start crying in your crack induced hallucinations that the sources are not valid, the sources are:

The State of Texas

The Federal Bureau of the Census

Wikipedia

Read 'em and weep Houston!
Weep for what? Houston is during plenty fine, thank you.
