MA has more blue collar roots, but a ton of intellectualism. People are a TAD more friendly in Mass too.

Connecticut is richer overall when it comes to the average income, so yes the arrogance factor is probably up there. But Mass is pretty prestigious too with it's top notch schools but since Mass isn't in the NYC metro it wont make a higher income than CT overall.
But both states have that superior attitude without a doubt.

Connecticut is okay. (I have family in Hartford) Never been to the other commonwealth known as Mass

MA has history, diverse neighbourhoods in Boston, lovely New England scenery, Cape Cod, Martha's Vinyard.etc...it's way better than Connecticut!
