most of teh tent cities around here are gone, those people are living in parks and such around here and they went up to central FL. But the weather is at least not going to kill them, so it makes sense to stay in FL. We have always attracted homeless people, which definitely includes some people who have criminal leanings, but also some very nice people, i hear, so What do you propose we do about it?
Or are we jsut supposed to point fingers and try to one up each other on stories of poverty int eh US?
I completly agree that NYC looks much better than it used to.But you guys can't say it isn't still dirty. I've seeen sh** in parking garages, seen bums urinate on the street, trash overflowed, etc. But I give you guys props for cleaning up a little.
Bronx, Chinatown, Brooklyn, Staten island, lower east side, Harlem, Washington heights, north Manhattan, inwood, flatbush, crown heights. I could go on.

Well, for a city this large running 24/7, it's going to be a little dirty. Not as clean as other cities that have far less people and shut down at like 1am. That's common sense.
