5. Oakland, Calif.
6. Flint, Mich.
7. Gary, Ind.
8. Birmingham, Ala.
9. Richmond, Calif.

Were do you see any city form Texas or Florida? There no City from these states on this list.

But Camden, NJ is right their at number 2 witch is in the Norteast and New orleans, St.Louis, Birmingham, North Carleston are all on the east coast these cities are in the Southeast coast of America. Considered the South

But nothing from your bad gangsta state of Texas or Florida, Before this for two years in a row Camden was number one!!!!!

KKK??? Not really, TX has ALOT of big cities, with high-crime rates. Dallas and Houston a couple of years ago had one of the highest murder rates for BIG cities.

NYC has an area of 368 Sq Miles and it ""Oficially"" had 523 Homicides in 2008 which means that in NYC every 0.70 Sq Miles there is a Homicide. Compared to a Southern city like Houston which has an area of 601 Sq Miles and in 2008 had 294 Homicides which means in Houston every 2.04 Sq Miles there is a Homicide. This tells me Houston is a safer city than NYC but like NYC is not a "safe" city but a OK city.

I have already agreed with you about New York now a days its not bad, but I have been Talking about Camden, NJ for the longest.

Their are still parts of New York were their are murders. New York City in the 1980's had alomst 3000 murders in a year more than some whole states. Its nothing like that now but it usually has over 500 murders a year still bad for almost any city. The best year for New York was around 350 murders a record low murder total for the year, still it would be bad for any other city except NYC because it has so many people.

New jersey is kind of an extension of New York City at least North Jersey and kind of Central Jersey , South Jersey is more geared toward Philly. Jersey is in the Middle of New York and Philly.

But nothing in Texas or Forida can compare with Camden, NJ in Looks or crimrate

No, it just tells me that NYC, has 6million more people living within it's city limits then Houston does.
