A couple of things to point out, as the thread is being closed....
First, if you read the posting guidelines in the room sticky that's at the top of the room when you come in, you'll find an section on posting photos. I'm doubting that the photos you posted were all taken by the poster, and in order to avoid copyright issues, all photos posted here MUST be taken ONLY by the poster, or, have permission by the actual photographer saying they can be reposted here.
Second, posts that compare North American cities to cities elsewhere in the world aren't allowed. There are simply too many differences to make such a comparison. North American cities should be compared here only to other North American cities. Older threads that were started before the sticky came into play are grandfathered in, but otherwise, these guidelines, are enforced.
