I understand this sentence doesn't really have much to do with your post in general, but this is a bit of a stretch. Not many countries give you the option live where you want?

No not every country has cities in the deserts, in the mountains, super dense, super spread out, with perfect constant weather, with beach enjoyment weather, more diversity (and diversity that appeals to you personally), architecture, friggid cold weather, etc to whatever your liking is.

The difference between USA and Germany, you have the contrast of Anchorage, Alaska to San Diego, California to New York City, New York, to Miami, Florida, to Honolulu, Hawaii, to Seattle, Washington to New Orleans, Louisiana to Phoenix, Arizona.

You just don't have that same level of variety at all. China comes close but they don't have any cities where weather will ever be as good as San Diego, and Australia comes close but they lack some of the variety here.

Get what I mean? Personally I cant name a single country in the world that same the same level of variety in its cities as the USA, if you can then let me know. Because I've been to China & Australia, they come close but no they cant match the level of variety.

Oh I agree with you, I misunderstood what you meant....I thought you were implying that few countries "allowed" you to live where you want.

You are correct, the USA is very unique in the selection of cities we have....however, considering the size of the USA, I would compare it more to all of Europe, which would give you just as good a selection of cities.

True, but also LA will come very close to NYC in 2050 i think LA will reach well over 10,500,000 in 40 years and NYC 12 or 13 million

Phoenix won't hit 2,100,000. The lack of water and dependency upon the automobile will leave the city looking like Detroit by then.

Not being negative, but LA is going to have major earthquakes before then, it will never reach that. NYC will be flooded by then as well.
