I've been to both cities a few times. I prefer Toronto. It's more of an all-around world city.
Miami is a decent city, but it's too one-sided for me. It's important for Latin American media and culture, however.
Same here. I been to Miami and it's a great vacation city, but overall, Toronto takes the cake. It's more of an all around/total package city compared to Miami/South Florida which is kinda "one sided".
Miami's beaches are far from world class compared to the Florida's gulf coast.
Miami's water average temp is warmer year-round than the Gulf...and often times, the Gulf waters can be a tad too hot in summer, stagnant, and murky. I will admit that the Gulf sand is nicer, though.
Miami. Toronto is too pricey, too self centered, too cold. Maybe Toronto in June, July, and August after that its depressing, and the worst con of all its in Canada .
Miami is tops just for the weather alone, and the better looking women and cheaper party favors .
Toronto as better Asian food, better music scene, and better public transport, and its closer to Montreal .
