No, it's not mas, but I could give you a tour of Brooklyn you would not believe.... Some of the most scenic historical nabs in the city are in Brooklyn and not Manhattan.

The 200 years headstart that New York had is not something you can easily compensate for.

btw im not sayin bk sucks, i mean its got some of the nicest houses in the country.

C'mon. New York is 200 years older than Chicago and has always been more affluent. It shows.

Keep in mind that B-klyn is almost as big as Chicago but it defenitely does not contain as many run down areas as Chicago's South and West.

Chicago has some beautiful buildings but when you venture south especially down Cicero or Pulanski near Midway, i saw large swaths of flats that didn't offer anything but Minneapolis.

When you go northwest it is nothing there as well. C'mon.
Chicago is very downtown-centric city. Once you leave downtown, Loop, Rush and Oak there is not much to really look at and all those cookie-cutter condos erected in the past ten years do not help a lot, other than they replaced even uglier bungalows..
