I agree. I would HATE to one of those freezing tundra super bowls up there. Thats why MOST superbowls are held in the sunbelt.

I don't think there's a place on Earth that I could attend the Super Bowl and HATE it. It's the freaking Super Bowl. It's not like the weather affects you while you're at the game (in a dome), or in a restaurant, or at a club, or in your hotel.
Yes, it's nicer to go to an event like that in a warm weather climate, but the weather doesn't have to ruin the whole experience, for crying out loud. This forum is full of nancies.
All superbowls should be played in places like Chicago, Green Bay , New England or Buffalo. That way real fans would go and we could weed out all the dandies.

But the prices of the Tickets usually weed out the "real fans" anyway.

The Super Bowl wouldn't have problem attracting fans to the North Pole.... It has to be inside or in a warm place for the ridiculous half-time and pregame festivities. Imagine Bruce Springsteen sliding across the stage on his knees when it's covered in ice - he'd go flying into the stands.
The NFL knows what it is doing. It is by far the most successful sports league in the country. And it understands to maximize revenue you put the game in the most desirable city with the biggest stadiums and nicest weather. It's not that complicated. (Indianapolis, not sure about that one, must have something to do with the new stadium, perhaps new hotels).
I think it is absolutely awful that the super bowl is only held in warm weather cities. It should be held at the home field of the team with the better record. With the way it is set up now a team like the Bucs or Cards could get home field without deserving it. Plus, bad weather is part of football.
Sure, But say the Bucs were playing the Pats up north in the snow for the Superbowl. The Pats would have a HUGE advantage which wouldn't be fair. The Champions should be chosen be who is the better team, not who plays in the cold better.

I will never understand why fans and analyst think players have weather advantages because of the team they currently play for in the nfl?
Players in the nfl played high school and college football in other states. Therefore, it is a individual situation and every player has their own preferences
Take Brian Cushing for instance. He played high school football in Northern NJ
Then went to Southern Cal for college in LA, which is hot but not extremely hot
Then he got drafted by the Houston Texans. I would say he is use to playing in most weather conditions
Also, college and pro players travel during the season and play away games in other climates.
Maybe one player who grew up in the south, played college in the south and got drafted by a nfl team in the south will have trouble getting accustomed to the cold.
However, if you are in the NFL then most players have experience playing in different climates
