But you people don't realize that some people don't mind barely getting by with money. I would rather be poor in a place I love, than rich in a place I despise.
If the question was would you rather live someplace you love but barely getting by or someplace you hate with lots of money this would be a valid point.
Being that wasn't the question it really has no bearing on this.
But you people don't realize that some people don't mind barely getting by with money. I would rather be poor in a place I love, than rich in a place I despise. You can't buy happiness.
Exactly!
Just like you can't dismiss people and question their sanity or their braincell count who simply have a different viewpoint from yours. It works both ways.
BTW, it would appear from the poll results that common sense seems to be prevailing - for a change.
I've called you out on it before. You speak of Long Island affluence and wealth ALL the time. Not that I care, just thought I would point it out in relation to your last post.

I'm I just bought a house in #21 Can't wait to go back.
lol, I just happened to run across that on accident.
I lived in Florida for 2 years, from 2005 to 2007, and it was absolute hell on earth. Partially to do with my living situation at the time, but mostly because most people are such dolts down there. I did live in a beach town, but even those who I came across in Orlando, Miami, etc. were all braindead. I swear the humidity makes them dumber.
Okay, I met the occasional intelligent form of life while there, but they were doing their best to leave the state as well.

It's something I'm very happy about. I'm not bragging.
