Oregon by far. A pretty natural setting, in fact it would be lovely if you could get rid of the Oregonians. Narrow-minded, mean, provincial. The cities are hideous and jobs are virtually unattainable. Somehow, they manage to gush over how special they are and treat newcomers like vermin. They are welcome to it.

Oh my God! Has nothing changed in 49 years? What you describe is almost exactly what my parents say about why they left Oregon in 1964. I was born there but my family was never welcomed because my family wasn't from there.
That's crazy! To some, Atlanta may be overrated for whatever reason, but not the whole state, you never hear anything about another city in Georgia but maybe Savannah.
Sort of similiar to Illinois on this aspect because you only here about Chicago.

I am not saying all of Florida is perfect but I see Florida being attacked CONSTANTLY. And more than any other state, even the underrated New Jersey.
