I don't know about either, but from the pictures it seems Hamilton has a lot more people living in an urban setting, clearly lots more highrise condos than Pittsburgh. So I choose Hamilton.
I chose the Hamilton in Canada for the significance that it's a heavy industrial city, similarl to Pittsburgh, and they are both known as "Steel cities".
I am not sure! As an independent city I would probably say PITTSBURGH. As a city which is part of a larger metropolitian area I would say HAMILTON. I like Pittsburgh's architecture and hilly location. I like Hamilton's location near Toronto and on Lake Onatrio as well as the Niagara Escarpment greenbelt being right there.

Hamilton has some great architecture, still has structures standing from the late 1800's, one of the first established communities in North America mind you.
Can Pittsburgh really be considered a steel city anymore?
