I believe MO is one of the best. Hardly any restrictions on what you can buy at the fireworks stands. What are some other states?

Iowa sucks. Everybody in this lame state has to travel to MO or WI to get anything other than "snakes".

Ya, Tennessee has great stuff. In New England, it's NH by a mile, but that is just by comparassion. You can't buy any in Mass (except from the mob)

Missouri is one that comes to mind. Wyoming used to be pretty good but been awhile since I stopped at a stand there. South Dakota wasn't too bad years back but they have changed things about what is legal to sell there now also.

Rockport probably ranks a close second to Kansas City in terms of Missouri 'tourist' destinations.

On I-24 about 30 miles NW of Chattanooga, there is a HUGE warehouse that sells fireworks It's labeled "Alabama/Tennessee Fireworks"(i think). When I lived in GA that's where we always used to get fireworks, because fireworks are illegal in GA for whatever stupid reason, some pretty awesome fireworks

Most of the fireworks are illegal here in Minnesota. But you can buy sparlers and a few others but nothing like cherry bombs. They do allow the big firework displays though. But now that I think about it I bet you can buy them on the Indian reservations in the casios but ten to one you will get nailed.
