I always though the North American west coast and Australia had alot in common. Both are very laid back places compared to the American East Coast and much of Europe. Also, both have god-like scenery being a short distance from the beach boardwalk town with shops and little amusement parks. The cities have alot of "Equivalents" with each other, like Sydney is alot like LA. Brisbane and Perth are like San Diego. Melbourne works with Seattle and San Francisco. Canberra is Sacramneto, Darwin is Tijuana, Gold Coast is like Anaheim, and Hobart is Anchorage. I also included Auckland and Vancouver in the poll.
