I think of Cheyenne as a isolated cowboy town big by Wyoming standards but very western to the core. Seems like a great town for someone that enjoys the simpler western life.

San Marcos, Texas

Not familiar with this specific town, but not a big fan of Louisiana in general. The worse humidity I've ever experienced, gritty.

Cincinnati, OH

OH's 2nd city, Bengals, Reds, University of Cincinnati, someone said it is hilly?, maybe the best peer city to Pittsburgh for that reason. Close to Louisville. Midwestern. Conservative metro, as opposed to Columbus and Cle which are liberal. Seems like there is alot to do there, I would say it definitely meets the criteria for being considered a large metro.

Toledo, OH

I LOVE Carolina Beach. An Aunt and Uncle of mine live there. You can drive out onto the beach, and even camp out there. 2 state parks, one of which is oceanfront. Atlantic Ocean, Cape Fear River, and Intercoastal Waterway. Great, relaxed, family atmosphere. Brits Doughnut Shop on the Boardwalk (To die for!). Just across the bridge from Wilmington. Can't say enough about the place!

Charlottesville, VA
