Nice enough but kinda sterile and lacking soul. Basically a suburb with a large financial district, the core is very post modern and not much of a historical base and very little urban activity. Although I will say its leafy neighborhoods have some very attractive homes.

Nice waterfront downtown. Small, but nice historic district. Love Ft. Fisher Beach to the south of the city.
I wouldn't want to live somewhere that hot and muggy, but it's one of the best cities in the country for visiting. I have a few friends there and in Baton Rouge so if I had to move there, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I dont know much about it other than it is a very large city in the far west tip ofT X. Probably has great TexMex cuisine.. for some reason I generally think positive of this city. I think its great that a city being 88% Hispanic/Latino exists like this (at its size) and I really want to visit someday.

The quintessential border city with a big military influence, very friendly people, great food, kinda shabby and unattractive in several parts but surprisingly nice in its own way and framed by beautiful desert peaks with nice sunsets.
