I'll admit that some of the Google pictures look pretty nice.

Fort Worth, TX.
It'd be a nice smaller city, to visit when it comes to the 2 main DFW cities. Seems like it has a nice downtown, and also that city seems like it has a lot of it's heritage still left. Do hope I get to visit Fort Worth, someday.

Since I vaguely remember many years ago, seeing a few pics inside a Chili's showing a chili cook-off occurring in this town south of Ft. Worth: Waxahachie, TX

My opinion it will be part of the DFW Metroplex soon. Ft. Walton Beach FL.

Hometown of the late great Phyllis Diller. She wrote about her Lima girlhood in her memoir.

South Padre Island, TX (the town located on the island of the same name)

Seems like it'd be a nice beach town to travel to, not far from the Mexico border. And from what I have heard in the past, SPI was a popular place(or at least once was, if it isn't as much today) for college students to travel to and party, during spring break.

Back to upstate NY cities and towns. This one seems to get little discussion ever, even on C-D: Watertown, NY

Seems to be shaking off its Rust Belt "heritage" fairly well. Its downtown is more modern than I would have expected of an Upstate New York city, and its residential neighborhoods have something of an old-time charm. What was once the Carousel Mall (don't know what it is now) was at one time the largest mall in the country, which always struck me as an odd place for such a large mall to be.

Grand Forks, North Dakota
