I don't know which of the three cities on the TN side would be considered the dominant city. Like, when the plane lands at their airport, and the flight attendant says "Welcome to ____," which city does she name?

And since I brought it up: Texarkana, AR/TX.
Well, since a municipality cannot legally cross a state line, there are two Texarkanas, but as in the two Bristols, the state line is the main street through the center of the city — and in Texarkana's case, the main post office straddles the state line.

It doesn't have the country music heritage of Bristol or the scenic character of the northwest Arkansas Ozarks, but it seems to me a decent enough place — I think I actually might prefer living there to living in Shereveport, La., just down US 71/I-49.

Columbia, Mo.

College town in one of the most overlooked part of Missouri

Speaking of twin cities with the same name: Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS.

A nice city, on the Kansas and Missouri border. The KCMO side of course is bigger, than the KCK side. If I remember correctly Oklahoma Joe's BBQ(or is it only called Joe's BBQ now?) is in KCK,so I'd like to visit that western Kansas City(out of these 2 KC cities) city just to eat there. And KCMO seems like a city, that'd for sure offer a lot of interesting things to do.

Another border/twin city: Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and Sault Ste. Marie, ON? (bonus points if you knew which SSM city, is bigger)

In a pretty location, but way too cold most of the year for my liking. SSM is I-75's northern terminus, the only part of the UP with a limited access freeway. The Ontario side is bigger, Michigan folks used to go into the Canada side for "mall" type shopping back in the day. Cross the river for amenities of a 200k metro. I don't know if that's the case anymore since it's not as easy to get back and forth.

Ponte Vedra FL?

The other important city of Southern Louisiana, Capital of Cajun culture, Louisiana Lafayette (though they prefer to be called just Louisiana for athletics) lately have put themselves on the map for good football

We did twin cities, now on to triplets: Kingston, Johnson City & Bristol, Tennessee. A quartet if you add Bristol, Virginia.

Where a lot of people fed up with DFW's growth and in some cases, politics move out to turn back the clock for a slower pace of life (i.e. a vibe similar to a scaled-down Dallas in the 1990s). Behind the "Pine Curtain" consisting of Basic Bible Belt Americana with a small-town feel but with the sprawl of a midsized city.

Pawtucket, RI

The Bucket. It's essentially a crappy side of Providence and they lost they're minor league baseball team to Worcester, Mass. Outlook for the bucket not looking so bright.

Newport, RI
