I have noticed that NYC is the most city that is talked about? Why is this?

-Is it that NYC has a big impact in the United States?
-Is it because NYC has to offer a lot?

It's the largest city in the US.
It's one of the most self-involved cities in the US so you can generally be certain NYCers will talk about NYC. (That might sound insulting, but many New Yorkers state they have that reputation. Also "self-involved" can include "self-criticism." I'm very self-involved as a person and also quite self-critical)

Because they're America's two most prominent cities.

In a related vein what large city do you think is relatively ignored here? San Antonio? Indianapolis? Memphis? Other?

I could create a thread on that, but I'm lazy I guess.
