Miami might be a little more fun and more active, but San Diego is a fabulous place to live.

San Diego....better climate, less crime and people (in general) aren't narcissistic, obnoxious a--holes who drive like raving lunatics.

I'd pick San Diego solely for the fact that it's not hurricane-prone like Miami.

Isn't it earthquake-prone though? I don't know about you, but I'd rather deal with an earthquake than a hurricane.
