I chose the Transamerica building in San Francisco even though it is a bit dated and much shorter than several other skyscrapers in California

My favorite skyscraper is the Renaissance Tower In Dallas. I love the the antennas on top of the building! Without the antennas the building would be 710 ft and the 5th tallest building in Dallas. With the antennas the building is 886 ft the 2nd tallest building in Dallas!

The building in 1978 before the 1986 renovation

They aren't very tall, but there are towers in Columbia, Greenville, and Myrtle Beach. Even Charleston has a few beautiful historic midrises downtown, this one being my favorite:

But you probably prefer the newer, flashier buildings to the older, more historic stuff anyway. But I would give the nod to BOA in Charlotte as my favorite in NC also.
