Which city do you like the most with regards to things to do downtown, nightlife, ethnic/cultural/social diversity, type of attitudes towards outsiders or people in general and their respective sports teams.

Why does Pittsburgh win for sports???

Denver has all 5 major sports, Pittsburgh only has 3.

Pittsburgh actually supports its teams whether they are having a winning season or not, people in Denver are total fair-weather fans. Only the Broncos manage to maintain a consistent fan base, even then Bronco fans fall short when compared to Steelers fans.

What a load of crap! Denver is the smallest market to have all four pro teams ( a total of eight if you count other pro leagues). Ever heard of supply and demand jimmy?

In 2008 Denver with a 8-8 record was at the top of the attendance list at #4

In 2007 Denver was 7-9 and was also at the top of list the list #5

What's your point? It seems like you're pretty much agreeing with me. I said the Broncos are the only team that manages to maintain a loyal fan base and you go and post a binch of links that support that.

What you should have done was try to demonstrate how the Rockies, Avalanche, and Nuggets are more than fair-weather teams, but you didn't.

NFL's best fans? We gotta hand it to Steelers (barely) - NFL - ESPN
The Steelers have the #1 fans in the NFL followed very, very closely by the Packers. The Broncos manage to come in at #7, which is still pretty impressive.

Denver in every way. Pittsburgh has nothing better to offer except that some neighborhoods are built in a denser layout. However, in terms of everything you can get, Pittsburgh is considerably smaller than Denver and you can immediately feel that.

As far as "ethnic/cultural/social diversity" is concerned, Pittsburgh easily beats Denver in this department.

You claimed the broncos fans fall short compared with steelers fans yet their attendance is often ranked at the top. You also claimed that Denver isn't much of a sports city because the fans dwindle when their teams lose. Yet again the broncos attendance (7-9, 8-8) along with various links suggest otherwise.

Hey jacob, do you know which baseball team holds the single season attendance record? I'll give a hint its mascot could be a relative of Barney...
That's a very deceptive record to begin with, it should have an asterisk next to it. Back in 1993, the Rockies played at the old Mile High Stadium which had 76,000 seats. That's about 20,000 more seats than Dodger stadium, the largest stadium in Major League Baseball. It was also their first year as a team, so there was a lot of excitement around the franchise and a big turnout for their inaugural season. I'm pretty sure that any brand new team playing in a larger-than-average sized stadium could pull off the same feat.
