Not sure what exactly you mean by "media"...but I will agree CNN has made Atlanta a top media city not only in the south, but in the world. Today, though, the media encompasses so much more than TV, so it depends on where the internet centers are located. Again, Atlanta would seem to do well here as well. Miami is definitely a media center not only for Florida, but for points south, but ATL is tops in my mind.

Atlanta..... It's called the capital of the south by most. Atlanta also seems to be more southern than the other cities....

ATL, mainly because of CNN. But like someone else said Miami is a GREAT media city for points south, such as Latin-America and the Carribean. Especially with Univision.

it has to be Atlanta. They also have other TV channels besides CNN and it's the de facto capital for rap/hip-hop in the U.S. now.

Atlanta by a mile. They have CNN and the Weather Channel. Miami is the movie capital though.
