Besides the whole hot and cold thing, it really doesn't matter...whatever storm Chicago gets, New York will get in 2 days

Have you ever been to Chicago in the Winter? It's different type of cold and different type of wind.

Take2 doesn't care what anybody says or what facts are presented.

Chicago is the worst place on earth IHO and he's set out to prove it.

It goes from humorous to annoying.

Chicago is slightly colder in the winter and slightly cooler in the summer.

It wouldn't be that much of a change depending on which one I was in.

I've lived in both cities, and Chicago is definitely colder in the winter than New York, but the rest of the seasons are pretty much similar. So yea, New York has better weather just because of the winter.

I found Chicago to be colder. Not by much but never the less colder.

Chicago is colder and the seasons of fall and spring are barely noticeable.

I agree with you. And as I stated earlier in this thread, Chicago winters are cold but they really aren't any worse than NYC's (in my experience). If you can handle one, you can deal with the other.

The "brutality" of Chicago's weather, including Lake Michigan's effects (which has more of a modulating influence anyway), is grossly over-exaggerated on this forum. The way some people speak of Chicago's winters you would think they are talking about upstate NY, or worse, Minnesota weather.
