If you turn Florida 90 degrees counter-clockwise, you have an entirely different effect.

Actually, if you look at a good map of Michigan (not including the so-called "upper peninsula"), it looks a lot like a Mitten, which is one of those gloves without fingers, like kids wear. It's weird, too, because "Michigan" kind of sounds like "Mitten". And it LOOKS like one, too!

I just noticed this a short while ago while looking at state shapes.

Also, the roads around dallas and fort wort form the shape of male genitalia.
