Yea it's been real humid in Norcal too, I hate it! The weather has been disgusting. It's been in the 90-100's for a straight week now and the humidity has been awful.

The problem is here in Norcal 99% of us do not have AC because usually the fog and the bay breeze acts as a natual AC so we have been dying these past few days.

Yea you should see the skies in California when we have fires, it's crazy. The sky becomes really hazy and it takes on this weird orange, purple haze color. Plus you end up smelling like smoke after a while if you are close to the fire...it's gross.

Actually the Humidity and the high pressure is keeping the air fairly clear and most of that smoke blows off to the north and to other states.

Wow lol why did you put East Coast - Humid, muggy, hot...some rain and thunda. The East Coast is not all about that lol. California gets hotter than in the East Coast.

Hot weather may continue through weekend | Inland News | PE.com | Southern California News | News for Inland Southern California (http://www.pe.com/localnews/inland/stories/PE_News_Local_D_webheat30.f389fd.html - broken link)

Here is another link where it states that California Weather is dreadful.

^^^^The West Coast has higher temperatures but the East Coast has the higher Heat Indexes, NYC got up to 100 only once in 2009 but when you factor in the heat index it got up to 100 9 or 10 times, its weird lol.
