The list seems reasonable to me and does sort of follow along with the CMSA rankings, in general. Also, there is some correlation between city size and entertainment options.

somone actualy took a forbes list serious? :[] what has the world come to :P the list is terrible they are rating it on number of bars museums and everything.....that doesn't make it entertaining at all.....id say places like las vegas(gambling and night life fun), Seattle(next to beaches and mountains), portland(same as seattle), San Fransisco(same as Seattle and Portland), and new york(because its new york)

Seems like a decent list. Discuss how you would have ranked them.
whoa whoa whoa- Atlanta? come on... Obviously they're just trying to appease southerners- there is no way Atlanta is more entertaining than Boston or San Francisco. Atlanta shouldn't even be on the top 20. How about Las Vegas? Nashville?

I remember last year Houston made the list. I think they listed NASA and the Johnson Space Center as one of the reasons for being one of the most entertaining cities. Don't get me wrong. I love Houston and think it's a very underrated city, but if your going to include NASA as one of the reasons the for Houston being "entertaining," then the whole list just lost all credibility.

5. D.C.
6. Chicago (tie)
6. San Francisco (tie)
6. Boston (tie)
8. Nashville
9. New Orleans
10. Philadelphia

^^^Lol! that was good waronxmas

I wouldn't take the list too seriously. I think the list has to do with ratio of bars, clubs and restaurants to the city or something like that. For me, San Francisco, Boston along with about 3 or four other cities' night life that didn't make the list would be above Atlanta, but that's just me. Atlanta's night life really does have an appeal to a lot of people though.

This list is total and utter nonsense.

It doesnt take density or walkability into account. San Francisco and Boston are tiny area wise compared to Atlanta or LA, and I find the former cities way more entertaining because everything is right there and much more accesible.
