Anyone who can look at this diagram and not think that FCP is taller needs their head examined.

Yes he did know of the CN Tower, Skydome at the time and the Jays and yes the games are selling well now due to how they are doing.. A lot more people in T.O are wearing Jays attire too.
Do you think the CN Tower or Space needle are more well known?

probably a draw to me not sure

I would not put the CN tower in the same vein as the Eiffel tower or even ESB

though maybe miss read your post - if you are saying known but below those would agree

For comparisons sake, here are Toronto and Seattle's most famous skyline icons, side by side:

impressive but not sure it makes either more well known

The Statue of Liberty is shorter than either and likely more well known

maybe put Mt Rainier there as well for perspective

I think the CN Tower is well known as far as tall structures are concerned... It received designation by the American society of Civil Engineers as one of the 7 wonders of the modern world and was the worlds tallest freestanding structure for 35 years. It is the defining symbol of a Canadian skyline and it also recieves many more yearly tourist visits than the Space Needle.

My post I was clear that the CN Tower is not as well known as Eiffel or ESB.. Now if im living in a third world country fighting to survive than no, I would't know of it but I would prolly not really know about much in the line of worldly things anyway.

Yes but the Space Needle is not in NYC, the largest and most recognizable, famous city in the U.S. Toronto at the end of the day is the largest city in Canada and the CN Tower is in it so there is going to be some notoriety in that.

But the Golden Gate Bridge? Yeah, don't compare the BOA building in Atlanta or any building or tower in North America, besides the Empire state building, with the Golden Gate Bridge. It's in a whole other category in terms of recognizable landmarks being mentioned by you and downtown.
What are you talking about?I was comparing HIGHRISES..I just made statements about the boring design of many of Toronto's buildings.
Thats why all this was relevant.
Not that Atlanta BOA is more recognizeable than the Golden Gate.

Thank you fo letting us know that because I though the BOA in Atlanta was more recognizeable than the GG.
