That's an easy one Chris, the state with the most guns and the people most proficient in their use wins in war. And California can't afford to fight anyone (except the people who make incandescent bulbs and plastic shopping bags.)

Massachusetts wins, then invades Rhode Island. After their victory there, it's off to conquer Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
New Massavermaine Island would be an awesome state!

Tennessee vs Kentucky

LOL, North Dakota could destroy any nearby state. Not that this scenerio would ever play out.

I would say Georgia-Florida would be a good battle, only because Georgia is definitely the south with one major city that perhaps isn't. Florida is not really the south, but anywhere north of Orlando, they would beg to differ!

All this is, of course, tongue-in-cheek.
