My thoughts exactly. Also, the view from the HOV lane on I-77 from north of Uptown is sweet.
My favorite view of the Atl is on I-20 from the West side just as you climb that big hill. That is Atl's money shot if you ask me. You can also see a similar view from the Pilot truckstop on the westside as well. Ironically, the best views of both cities are from two Pilot truckstops in "da hood" lol!
YEESSSS!!! That is one of my favorite views of Atlanta as well. Whenever I'm coming back from Mississippi (to visit family), that view of I-20 lets me know that I'm home.
Another favorite view of mine is heading south on GA-400 from I-285 and you have that incredible view of the Buckhead skyline.
Yep, I don’t’ see why people are trippin on the comparison. They look about the same to me.
DOWNTOWN ATLANTA
DOWNTOWN CHARLOTTE
Those two photos show how much larger Downtown Atlanta really is...outside of the larger tower cluster, Charlotte really drops off - there is little development. Atlanta's Downtown keeps going and gradually tapers off.

I agree. Driving east on I-20 into Atlanta and then going north on I-75/I-85 offers a good view of downtown.
LOL, Jacksonville has like one building. The Modis building.
It does not; Modis isn't even the tallest building (BOA tower is). Jacksonville has a pretty respectable skyline and I have no idea why people like to clown it so much:

Really? I don't see that. They pretty much look the same to me. Keep in mind the Atlanta photo is a little closer up.
What you see in the aerials depends on the angle, but downtown Atlanta is definitely more developed than uptown Charlotte.
