I'd say Philly; even its towns an hour or more away have large neighborhoods of row homes. It seems more ingrained there than in any other city (though admittedly, I've never been to Baltimore).

Even Overbrook has some interesting ones... It's the only neighborhood in Philly where I've seen stone rowhouses:

Very nice. There are more stone in the very Northern sections like East and West Oak Lane and there are also stone rowhomes scattered all throughout Northeast Philadelphia.

There are definitely a lot of rowhouses.

Imagine if Philly could get its streets to be that clean.

I'm thinking New York City still has more, though not by total %. There's many more outside the brownstone blocks:

That block (and a lot of Dogtown) is mostly comprised of small singles and twins and is not very representative of Mt Airy or rowhomes.
There are much better blocks to showcase Mt Airy rowhomes. Unless you were trying to imply that all rowhome blocks are dirty, which is very far from the truth.

It seems that there are so many more different kinds of rowhomes in Philly vs. NYC.
NYC has brownstones but so many of the rowhomes in Queens and The Bronx are the somewhat newer non-descript brick houses like is found in Northeast Philly.

That wasn't the point at all. The point wasn't to post houses that were representative of the housing stock of Mount Airy as a whole. The point was to post examples of rowhouses. And Mt. Airy has rowhouses.

Why is it completely impossible to do the most basic things on this Board without getting criticized? I could say "Happy New Year" and criticism would follow.

Haha, I'm not criticizing but that block is not a very good block to show examples of rowhomes. They seem to all be small singles and twins.

I do understand your point though. Even in Chestnut Hill and The Far Northeast there are still rowhomes to be found. Hell even in the inner ring suburbs like Wyndmoor, Upper Darby, etc.

And Happy New Year!

Far NE examples, IMHO maybe the worst incarnations (well some in Port Richmond and Kenso can be pretty bad too)

Down Further in The NE these are brutal not quite a trinity but tiny tiny tiny
