NYC and DC have the nicest though (tend to be more upscale than the working class rows in Philly/Balt). NYC is more an apartment city overall, though. Apartments dominate more than rowhouses.
Keep in mind that the five boroughs of NYC probably have the same number of rowhouses than all of the cities in this poll combined. There are over 50 different areas/neighborhoods in NYC with rowhouses.
Not quite true, although Pittsburgh is well behind the big 4, it has as many rowhouses as Boston does, though Boston has mostly high end rows, and Pittsburgh has working class rows.
I really need to get to Pittsburgh. Rowhomes on hills are the best and I'm sure there are plenty blocks like the one with the skyline in the background, nice pics. Manayunk in Philly and Bethlehem, PA have some pretty dramatic inclined rowhome streets as does San Francisco.
I also love when there are lights or banners crossing the street connecting the homes, it adds so much character to a block imo.
Philly, DC and Baltimore. I haven't been to Pittsburgh though.
