Some people just hate snow. 90degrees with humidity IS indeed unbearable, but 20degrees and snow isn't exactly paradise either.
I agree, it's people's opinions. To you (and mostly everyone else) 90 degrees with humidity is unbearable but to me it's perfect. 20 degrees with snow is unbearable to me as well, that's why I'm glad NYC isn't that cold in the Winter, a few nights will get that low but it's never that cold in the daytime (mid-30's to upper-50's is the norm).

I lived in NYC for years and listened ad nauseum to NY'ers that were desperate for a Miami fix in the dead of winter. When I left Brooklyn for S. FL (in January), I didn't hear "Poor you"...I heard, "Damn, pack me in your bag."

It's perfect b/c you dont live down here. So you dont really know what it's like to live down here with the 7-8 months of constant heat and humidity. Am I wrong?

Exactly, the dead of Winter is the worst no matter how mild it is compared to Midwestern and New England cities. The dead trees really bother me, even this past April we were in the 90's for 2 days and the trees were still dead and it still bothered me a little, they bloomed about 3 days later (poor timing lol).

Yes, you are wrong.
I left NY 20 years ago to escape the cold. I think the weather here is perfect most of the time.
I don't know why it is so hard to understand that different people like different things.

It gets that hot up here too, 90 degrees is only 4 degrees above average so we always go passed it lol. Personally I'm a heat lover, I actually can't get enough of it. I have a very high heat tolerance (and a very low cold tolerance) and I don't know why, I have many Floridian relatives but I doubt it's genetic, maybe it's my dark tan complexion.
I'd actually love 7-8 months of heat as opposed to 3-4 months of heat.

I was actually asking Infamous. My "Am I wrong?" was asking him (Infamous) if I'm wrong about him not living in FL (ever) so he may nt know what it's actually like to live in the heat and humidity. Yes, everyone likes different temps, but as shown on my poll I started the other day regarding "perfect temps" most people like 72 -77 degrees, not 88 or 45.
New York City has temperate/subtropical climate with 4 seasons; cold winters, cool to warm spring/fall, warm to hot & humid summers.
Miami has tropical climate with 2 seasons. Summer brings very hot & humid and frequently short-lived heavy thunderstorms most of the days between May - October (also chance of hurricanes) and a "winter" November - April with warm days and cool/mild evenings, and occasionally cold-fronts with significantly less rainfall.
how can New York have sub tropical weather when it isn't even located in the sub tropics? I was borned & raised in the NYC metro and you can keep your lousy bone chilling winter weather and your darkness at 5 PM! Oh and I remember many heatwaves in the summer with one of the worst being stuck in the Lincoln Tunnel and a temp of 108 degrees with no AC in the car! It has never been over 100 degrees in Miami!

The same way South Florida has a Tropical climate but it's not in the Tropics, it's about temperatures not location.
