Only a few cities are really crazy about their pro teams and would support them when their management isn't putting winners on the field. I don't even think the Jets and Giants would sell out like Green Bay or Buffalo would when they are having bad years. The Rays were hot last year and had major attendance, the Magic are hot this year and Orlando is going into this season with major hype. So, yeah it does depend on how the team is doing.
It's true for one team in college football. The Miami Hurricanes fans sucks. That was terrible on Saturday.

(mostly off) But overall Florida likes it sports. Also I would argue Florida has the best high school Football and Baseball in the nation.
I'd argue right with you in regards to Texas having the best high school football and baseball in the nation.

True. But UF is actually tied with UNC for basketball championships this decade ( UF in 06 and 07, UNC in 05 and 09)

And that ties UF with Louisville, UConn and Michigan State (supposedly powerhouses in college basketball) for all time championships.

Haha, that's true, I never realized that. And NC hasn't won a College Football title in DECADES.

I forgot to add the Marlins winning in 03.

NC or FL. FL for their football and NC for their basketball. Duke vs UNC basketball is insane. I laugh when I see Arkansas tied with NC. A lot of people obviously dont know NC and it's basketball.

Why was Texas left off??? It seems to be obvious winner in the South. If your referring to the Southeast it's a coin flip between Georgia and Florida IMO.

True. But as of LATE, the Gators have 2 Football Championships, and 2 Basketball Championships, in the last 4yrs. That's AMAZING. I'm not even really a Gators fan, I'm a Texas Longhorns fan, but you have to admit, in the last couple of years Florida has been dominating the college sports scene.
