Without a doubt Dallas, hands down, no real need to articulate anymore than this! If only they(Dallas) could rid itself of that eyesore with the big "W" on it in downtown. Which, I believe, shall forever sully her other eye appeasing attractions.
Ok, whatever makes you Texans feel better about yourselves.
Los Angeles has nothing on Dallas, everything in Texas is bigger.
Im still looking for a thread where a Californian compares their city to the south.
Didnt realize that was Dallas after a thunderstorm, LA never gets them.. mybad.
Yea those 9,000 foot mountains behind LA's skyline dont make a difference.. mmm..
Im still looking for a 500 foot mountain around dallas..
One thing I know, and everybody in Texas knows..
Living in Houston for 2yrs and going to high school there...
8/10 Texans hate on California... go figure.. maybe its envy?

The mountains aren't technically what one considers as a cities "skyline" usually or at least that's my interpretation.
Sounds pretty conveniant from a person from a state that has nothing else...
Lol.. Why dont you just compare your flat cities to other flat cities..
Because the scenary California offers is what really makes it unique.

Sunbelt cities like Dallas and Houston, or Atlanta have always been sort of like the obnoxious, rude, tactless student in kindergarten or first grade, who begs to be seen, raises their hands flailing his arms, yelling, "pick me! pick me!" "i know!", "i know!", "look at me! look at me!" the one who always brags about what new toys they have, the "biggest" in everything, and shouting out "look at me!", "dont you see me?!"
There's not much in terms of history, charm or culture, so they have to bring attention to themselves in other ways. They're the 30K Millionaire Early-20-somethings with Ed Hardy Shirts of cities
Ok, did you see where I said compare "your flat cities" to "other flat cities"?
There is not a single house in those pictures.
I can show you a picture with over 4 million houses and the San Gabriel Mountains.
Those are beautiful pictures of Texas mountains..
Us Californian's... really dont care..

You can't build houses on these mountains, because it is in a state or national park.

Dude, I don't think anyone on here is even getting into the whole "Everything's bigger in Texas" yakkin'.
I can speak for myself when I say that I could care less what either state and city has.
I just like the Dallas skyline more than I like the L.A. skyline. To me, L.A.'s skyline just looks less spectacular. Even with the mountains in the background, it's just not all that great to me.
And just to solidify that, there are SEVERAL cities I'd say have better skylines than Dallas.
New York, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Seattle, and San Francisco (a bit of a tie for me) just to name a few. And that's just here in America.
