What is the Best Cosmopolitan City in the U.S. to Live an affluent lifestyle on an income of $75,000 - $100,000 a year?

Depends on your definition of affluent, but I'm thinking Chicago maybe? But I'm no expert on this topic.

By affluent i mean by being able to drive a German car and live in a 1 bedroom condo in a high rise building. I was thinking Chicago or Miami.

Seattle perhaps? Also, maybe some of the major cities of the South such as Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta provide easy living on that income.

Chicago hands down. You could get you a nice place overlooking downtown, go out every weekend, and enjoy a good meal out a few times a week.

Just out of curiosity (I'm not asking which city is better) which is more affordable for the same budget, Seattle or Chicago?--ie are you there eskercurve?
