Lakeshore Drive.

I love riding down Lakeshore drive with a bowl and a "smoke mix cd" to end my day and ease my mind. I drive down from Hollywood, past downtown, hop on 55 and get off at State, and then cruise up through the heart of downtown until I hope back on Lakeshore Drive from Michigan Ave.

Everytime I take a visitor on the route they're always in awe.

It's a hideous freeway that blocks off the waterfront from Chicagoans with 8 lanes of speeding traffic.

Yeah, god knows you can't use one of the MANY pedestrian crossings to get to the other side of Lakeshore Drive.
