Interesting comparison. I prefer Birmingham's.

I agree, Birmingham. However, the natural scenery surroundings of Ft. Lauderdale make that a more scenic beauty. Just skyline, though, would be Birmingham...

Birmingham does have taller (and more) towers but I think the greater variety in Lauderdale is what pulls me to the latter. Plus i got a little bit of homestate pride

Interesting, since I think Birmingham actually has more variety within its skyline.

Maybe, but Birmingham's skyline is far more historic than Lauderdale's, and since I see that Lauderdale has a few glass towers and Birmingham does not...see what i'm getting at?

From my perspective, Birmingham has more variety in the sense of having historic buildings and some more contemporary ones. Lauderdale's skyline practically consists of all contemporary towers. That's what I meant.

I see, but I still prefer Lauderdale's. Historic buildings are nice, but I find contemporary towers to be a little more interesting to view. Plus like I said I got some homestate pride plus the palm trees are quite a nice change-up from the usual coniferous trees.

OK. That's truly a personal preference and you can't really argue with that.
